In 2003, I moved from home, in the U.S. to explore the Middle East and Europe. This wasn't just a move; it was a search for self and understanding of different cultures. By 2019, my wife and I felt home calling us. We settled in Florida, drawn by its coastal beauty and history.

Returning to Florida reignited my long-forgotten love for metal detecting, first sparked by a childhood toy, the MICRONTA 3001. Life overseas had kept this passion at bay. Once settled back in Florida, I started metal detecting again, progressing from the Mine Lab Equinox 600 to more advanced models like the XP Deus II. Each find at the beach feels like a personal connection to history.

Today, I continue my hunts, each beep a call from the past. This is my ongoing journey, my rediscovered passion, and my connection to times long gone.
